Richard & Judith are passionate about people and in particular helping the vulnerable in their community and beyond. They are also passionate about the door industry, and with Richards creative engineering background, & 20+ years business experience, and  Judith’s focus on customer care, leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of providing industry leading solutions to meet even the most challenging of design requirements.  They are particularly focused on customer satisfaction and growing a team of dedicated personnel who can meet and exceed customers needs with product and service excellence. Their commitment to staff and dedication to developing long term customer, supplier, and community relationships have shaped the backbone and culture of OpenDoors NZ Ltd.

Blair Myles

General Manager

With the growth of  OpenDoors Blair was appointed to the role of General Manager in 2017. Blair brings with him 30 years experience gained across, Finance, Marketing, Systems, and Construction and has a particular passion for Continuous Improvement through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Blair is responsible for delivering Excellence in the day to day operations leaving Richard & Judith free to focus on their respective areas of Innovation & Care. In his spare time Blair loves to play squash & golf and go touring with his wife on their motorbike. 

Fionna Borman

Admin Team Leader

Fionna joined  OpenDoors in a part time admin role before being elevated to Team Leader where she has responsibility for all aspects of the administration areas of  OpenDoors ensuring that this vital part of the business operates smoothly and accurate information flows through from sales, to production and on to invoicing. Fionna is precise and friendly and provides a vital connection between our customers admin teams and our own. In her spare time Fionna loves to get outdoors and enjoys biking and walking whenever she can.

Grant Collett

Production Team Leader

Grant has been associated with the door pre-hanging industry for much of his career and is widely acknowledged as being one of the leading production experts in the industry.  As Team Leader he has complete oversight of all aspects of the production process and manages the day to day operations of our Tauranga based factory. He and his team are responsible for producing an extremely high quality product for our Customers from entry level right through to high end boutique designer product. He is committed to delivery in full, on time, & in spec. Grant is a fan of Hot Rods and modified cars and has much practical experience in this area.

Garry Henwood

Sales Consultant

Garry Henwood has spent the majority of his working life in sales and business management always striving to deliver exceptional Customer service. With 13 years specialising in doors and hardware there is little that Garry hasn’t encountered and as such he has become very proficient in making sure Customers get product that is fit for purpose. When not working Garry enjoys nothing more than working alongside his wife as they continue to develop their own avocado orchard.

Chris Dutton

Sales Consultant

Chris has extensive experience in the kitchen and cabinet making industry in roles ranging from sales, sales management and as a small business owner. More recently Chris has had a stint in the real estate sector before entering the door industry with an initial focus on sliding doors before joining the OpenDoors team as a Key Account Manager.
In his spare time, when he is not busy renovating the 100 year old bungalow he enjoys family time, walking, cycling, watching soccer, as well as brewing his own beer
